CBETA 於 2023 年收錄《續比丘尼傳》，記載梁朝至民國 200 位比丘尼的事跡。全書共六卷，由震華法師（1908–1947，比丘）走訪各地、採集史料編纂而成。他畢生教學、著述，並支持太虛大師推動佛教革新。

《續比丘尼傳》承繼六世紀寶唱法師所撰《比丘尼傳》（65 位尼眾），是佛教史上罕見以比丘尼為主角的系統性傳記，填補了女性修行者的歷史空白。

For centuries, Buddhist nuns have practiced, taught, and upheld the Dharma, yet their names and stories remain largely absent from historical records.
 
In 2023, CBETA preserved Xu Biqiuni Zhuan (Sequel to the Biographies of Buddhist Nuns), a six-volume work documenting the lives of 200 nuns from the Liang to the Republican China. This text was compiled through extensive fieldwork and archival research by Venerable Zhenhua (1908–1947, a Buddhist monk), who dedicated his life to teaching, writing, and supporting Master Taixu’s efforts to modernize Buddhism.

Venerable Zhenhua’s work continues the legacy of Biographies of Buddhist Nuns (featuring 65 nuns) authored in the 6th century by Venerable Baochang. This text stands as a rare systematic biography centering nuns’ spiritual journeys, filling a critical gap in the history of women practitioners.
